Pros
Working with animals, building a relationship with clients, saving lives (of those who can afford it unfortunately) I loved working with they staff, which have all almost left VCA.
Cons
Overworking your staff, underpaid staff, unappreciated, highly overcharging clients. I poured my heart and soul into this company for 5yrs, i had transportation issues so I was upset i had to resign. I asked if I could transfer where I was closer. After being told a position was available, went through 2 interviews and heard position was dropped. Then 2 weeks later, they post an opening for same position. After calling HR i was told i was never offer a position and the interview, well the manager felt sorry for me so she put me through 2 interviews. Oh and the position thats open, yeah that was posted to hopefully get application to fill another position, so technically they are not hiring for that specific position according to HR. What company does that to a loyal, hardworking passionate employee? Not to mention you treat senior employees as well as amazing veterinarians like crap until they quit. And above all you over charge clients and make them feel bad thinking they can't take care of they're babies. Shame on you VCA! I loved the ppl i worked with and for, thats the only positive feedback i can give.
