Pros

Good people; in the heart of downtown and close to transit points; board game nights

Cons

Dreary office space; unsure of who is in charge; oftentimes has money issues which can lead to getting paid late; no training; poor wages (your starting wage will be your always wage)

Pros

V2 Games is a startup so people have the opportunity to wear multiple hats and grow with the company. At the same time, the company is also trying to be more structured because it's growing, so things are starting to get more organized with proper processes to make it less like a startup-startup. People here are also very nice and easy to talk to. Even upper management are open to ideas and feedback.

Cons

Since V2 Games is still a startup, a lot of the projects they do are dependent on what opportunities there are. So we work on projects that seem very different from each other. I think the company needs to find out what the one vision or direction to go towards is after trying multiple things.

Pros

At V2 I was able to try on multiple roles and had an open dialogue with all of the members of my team. My supervisors and the owner are awesome to work with. We kept on task through regular meetings that never dragged on and always kept each of us up to date. The game we developed was a lot of fun to work on and allowed for much appreciated feedback. The fact that the company runs 2 of its own escape rooms adds a great deal to the culture.

Cons

Limited prospects for continued employment, not really large enough for long-term career growth.
