Pros
V2 is a fantastic communications firm to grow your career. The clients and programs are dynamic and genuinely interesting, offering exposure to innovative companies and meaningful work. If you’re eager to stretch yourself or try something new, the leadership team is incredibly supportive and open to fresh ideas. One of the standout aspects of V2 is that promotions aren’t tied to a rigid cycle, if you’re excelling, your efforts are recognized and rewarded. The culture is collaborative and motivating, with strong professional development opportunities and fun outings that help you build connections with colleagues. Truly a great place to land if you are an ambitious communications professional!
Cons
n/a - it's honestly a great place to work
Pros
V2 Communications does pay well. They offer a competitive salary range for roles and have several training options and creative panels that are engaging and interesting throughout the year. They also have good results for their clients, but those results come at a cost for culture and employee mental well-being.
Cons
There is zero culture. There is such high-turn over with employees (at every level) that it is hard to even know everyone's names. They also don't tell you this in the interview process, but they don't actually have a desk for you. You need to book your desk a month in advance and it is a constant stress trying to find a seat--even though they ask you to be there 3x a week to start. It's a mess and creates a lot of confusion. This only adds to the disjointed culture of V2. People tend to be competitive, catty, and cutthroat. If you make a mistake, even a tiny one, you are cut down from your manager within the hour. It's a culture of fear, high stress, and zero compromise. Expectations are incredibly high and if you don't get the results they want, there are major issues. Management barely has time to provide you with feedback and everyone seems to run a mile a minute, creating a culture of stress that spins out.
