Middle management fights and bickers among themselves. There is little or no common ground and each is giving conflicting directives to the subordinates. A very poorly thought out management structure.
Supervisors are constantly looking over their backs expecting an attack from an Assistant Manager. The Good-Old-Boy system of management is alive and well. If you are good at brown-nosing you will do well but if you work hard and expect to be left alone good luck.
Salary is kept very low for the work performed and raises do not keep up with inflation (Even with the very low inflation we have had).
