Pros
Generally a courteous place to work for. Management is quick to praise and the line employees are good at fellow-shipping new employees. Interesting problems and creative solutions abound. Generally a good place to get a career started.
Cons
Upper management decisions are opaque at times. Middle management tends to be clueless when it come to trends in technology and how to apply innovations correctly. Line management is inept when dealing with line employees and tends to compound issues due to their lack of understanding of the work. Pay is low compared to market. Over reliance on the pension as a way to keep employees satisfied.
