This has been such a great university to work for. Benefits are amazing, most of the people are easy to work with, and interacting with students is so rewarding.

Cons

NEVER WORK FOR THE HUNTSMAN SCHOOL OF BUSINESS. Favoritism, nepotism, and politics play a huge role in your success there. They are so corrupt. All other colleges at USU are incredible.

Pros

Academia is a more relaxed atmosphere than a for profit business. Most of the people I work with are very kind. And the summers are amazingly quiet.

Cons

The pay is very low. My position was just created and the base pay is $50k. However, the raises here only come if you leave your position and move to a different division within the university. It is commonly said that if you want a raise or a promotion you have to go somewhere else.
