I worked here for 3 years and am still suffering from anxiety and stress related issues due to the environment and culture of this company. The directors are absolute bullies whose word should never be challenged. They flaunt their personal wealth at every given opportunity, yet offer nothing conducive to a happy work environment.
The senior management are an immature group of suit-wearing, Ascot-going yobs who stick together and intimidate / bully staff , watch you out of their windows and generally do their utmost to make staff feel uncomfortable and themselves more important.
It is absolutely common practice to remote onto your personal screens to monitor you in real time, read your emails and Internet browsing history, time your breaks to the second and send messages between each other berating staff or comment on people inappropriately. The security cameras are constantly monitored in real time (illegally) to see what staff are up to. Scary stuff.
No sick pay. No medical insurance for staff, yet that is what they sell. Government minimum holiday (public holidays are included in your leave allowance).
I can honestly say that Usay Compare is the most terrifying experience of negativity and stress I have ever experienced in a job. Please do yourself a favour if you are considering working for this company and look elsewhere - for the sake of your sanity. If you already work here and are unhappy then have the courage to leave and join another company. There really is a happy job out there waiting for you and you'll be so much better off.
