Pros
Most people are nice and approachable. Highly collaborative culture.
Cons
It’s nice at first until you realise there is a lot of toxic positivity. The company markets themselves as having the best people and great culture, however it’s just a facade. The immense focus on being highly billable, and the impossible commercial expectations guarantees that any good culture is down the drain. Like many others have commented, projects with very low budget allocated, and the consequence of which lands on the junior staff - consultants / senior cons, who has to upkeep with the impossible hours, which often meant overtime with no pay / flex hours. These are unspoken expectations, which makes it worse as the overtime is not acknowledged and make you feel like you are underperforming. When people leave, doesn’t matter how long the tenure, there are no leaving gestures (e.g. leaving morning teas) to acknowledge your past contribution, everyone is genuinely treated like a number, which leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Some managers are really toxic and can be detrimental to one’s mental health. Spot the signs and stay away. The pay isn’t that great, especially not for the amount of stress / overtime one has to deal with.
