Pros
It's really too bad upper management doesn't appreciate the kind of hard-working editorial and social staff they have. The people who do the day-to-day lifting are the heart and soul of this operation and without them, this company would've gone under long ago.
Cons
I'd advise anyone considering working here to run in the opposite direction. The company is completely mismanaged and upper management doesn't know what they are doing at all. The brand has changed at least 5 times since I started. They have no idea who they want to be and hemorrhage money on all the wrong things (and people). I'd be surprised if Uproxx was still around in 6 months. There's absolutely no communication from management on anything. They take complete advantage of contract employees and they lay people off without a thought.
