Pros
Great Benefits: really thought about employee wellbeing - very good method to get people use their holidays and actually relax. We came a long way the past years in growing from a start-up. Good pay, not equal yet: equal pay system still needs some work. Great people: for the most part. People like to stay at the office after work. Pretty much the same small group of people on average.
Cons
Too much pampering around techies. Sorry to say, but most of them probably never had a ”real job” ( f.ex.: McDonalds), where you actually have to be considerate towards others. For some reason there is an atmosphere inside a core group, where all misfortunate situations are someone else’s fault and every step we took towards growing - always the negative side of things are picked out. Everything in life has downsides, I'm tired of hearing about them - I'd rather focus on the positive and get energy for my everyday work. Constructive feedback is an unknown concept, but open critisism is more a rule than an exception. People don’t appreciate others and their work if they don’t understand it. I feel embarrassed most of the time, in what immature way people act at a workplace. There’s alot of mistrust and focus on the wrong things and between colleagues.
