Pros
Properties they managed were cool and very down to earth people at the properties themselves.
Cons
The vision at this company may be clear, but the execution is completely backwards. Corporate consistently prioritized their own image and relationships over the well-being of employees—often placing us in hostile or unsupportive environments just to keep up appearances. When I first started, I was hopeful, but it quickly became clear that making real progress was nearly impossible due to a convoluted and slow-moving approval process. The work became repetitive and unrewarding, and any creative marketing ideas were either ignored or shut down by unsupportive leadership. Over time, it felt like the goal wasn’t to help properties grow, but to keep me constantly busy with performative projects that served UTP’s image, not the actual clients. I’m incredibly relieved to no longer be part of a system that stifles growth, burns out good people, and forgets the properties it claims to support.
