Pros
Beautiful grounds and building to work in. Casual dress code. Good pay for outside London.
Cons
Honestly, management in the marketing team made this place a toxic cesspool. Never available when you needed them and then blamed you for not delivering something you’d sent them five chasers about and tried to corner them in the office to sign off. There was a very cliquey culture. A new manager brought over lots of former colleagues from the previous company they worked at and it was very clear they were the golden children who got supported in everything while people who’d been at Unum much longer were ignored until they felt like they had no choice but to leave or pushed out. All because they weren’t in favour. It was like being in a medieval royal court, but the beheadings were only metaphorical.
