Pros

insurance, safety program, training, Employee events

Cons

Very little respect for mechanics, missing honest and qualitive review systems . If you get a one word rating of "good" (which was defined as excellent) that equates to 1/2 dollar raise or 1.5 percent increase (annually). Which is below the average inflation each year. Never attempt to purchase from them, they will try to price gouge employees.

Pros

For the most part, United Rentals is a great company to work for. They care about their employees & promote growth from within.

Cons

The RELIABLE ONSITE SERVICES division is a total and complete DISGRACE to United Rentals name due to the Management team. Over worked and under-paid. Drivers should never come close to exceeding their DOT hours. Service trucks continuously break down, sometimes for weeks at a time. Promises are made by management but are not carried out. The way routes are dispatched is completely not efficient nor achievable. Employee's are moved in to the wrong positions.
