Pros

Work alone, make your own schedule

Cons

If you are considering working here, choose the next position. This will be LENGTHY!! Everyone from the Regional Director to HR are completely incompetent and they will treat you like very badly once you leave even if you put in your two week notice and have been compliant the entire time. Let’s see- the company motto is: “they yell at me so, I am going to yell at you” they don’t talk to you like you are an adult, and it’s extremely sad. Supervisor: Do you want someone to call you 10x times in a row? Because he will. Do you want to know what he tells you in the beginning “Just make me happy and you won’t be miserable” that alone should make you run away. We are millennials we do not take a job just on money but on the entire experience and this company is grossly lacking in every sector. Commission: They will pay you first quarter commissions in the third or fourth quarter- also they do not give you a production of last year so you have no idea what impact you are making on your territory. They could lie and say you did not increase production because they will not provide anything as a guideline (so sketch!) That is if you even get commissions. Human Resources: The HR people are completely horrible and unprofessional. As someone who prides their self in never leaving a company on a bad note I was very meticulous about how I turned in my resignation. I provided a two weeks notice, completely organized my storage, turned in my car earlier to help them so they would not have to place it in storage, sent back all the requested things I had (besides a winter coat and I will get into that later), took ample pictures for them to see how everything was left and answered every phone call during my time there and even after! But that still was not enough because I was burned by the people there. Three days after my items had been delivered to the corporate office I had not received any response I had to reach out about my final check, to only be greeted with “where is the winter coat” confused as I live in a not so cold state I said “I did not select that on my checklist and I do not have a winter coat” the HR rep said “we’ll be in touch”... Wait, a billion-dollar corp threatens to keep a check over a winter coat after an employee who just turned in everything stated they did not have it- honestly, why would I want to keep a sandalized coat? After inquiring about why will they keep a check over a trivial coat I was told “the check will be in the mail tomorrow good bye” seriously? How rude! I have not received the check as they said they will overnight it and guess what? They did not- I have not received any reimbursements and said I have wait until May 6th even though I should’ve been paid because I am no longer an employee and I will not get paid any incentives especially after they read this because I have no faith in this company and I am extremely sad this is how a company does business and treat their employees after they leave. After the incident via email I later received a call from a Director stating “why do you P her off? And act all bitter and facetious? ” So, let me get this right, someone is bitter about their check they worked for and left a company on good terms for? He seriously said this to me. Recruiting: Let’s speak about recruiting. What a joke! I spoke to others recruits and a director literally hired everyone in the room just the same as my Director did. What? They did not put a thoughtful or strategic procedure of the hiring process. The Chairman said hire 25 people and they hired maybe 10 good people and 15 “Ijustneedtohireyoutofillaspot.” Training: Maybe instead of spending three weeks in Jamaica we should’ve been introduced to our territory and how to properly break down our territory for effective daily route planning and focused heavily on the 100 slide presentations or the in-house training even during the 21day training. They literally threw everything together poorly, however I will say the trainer is super sweet and amazing. Advancement opportunities: There are none- they have their favorites chosen from the start so dont even try getting a fair chance.. They will pass you over for an award although your numbers are better than the winner, they just like the winner better..but it’s based on production too? Hmmm. Tenure also does not matter here, only favorites! I seen a decorated employee get passed over for another employee that was there only one year. The key word was “a decorated employee with tons of experience under their belt” Seriously, I expect a response back and trust me they will twist their words here and play the innocent game I just wish I could provide pictures on this thread to show you how they do business. I am warning you...
