Pros
Travel during training quite a bit. some positive formal training. Some managers are good at what they do, others suck and because of EEO they get to stay around. Pay up front is good, benefits are good
Cons
Minimum 12hr days, dealing with Union employees, Transportation is to blame for everything when all goes wrong & trains don't get out on time. Company cares about money, not its people. It's who you know and how much butt you can kiss to get promoted. Plan on not getting any sleep or very little of it, if you have a family good luck on spending time with them, there is no work life balance.
