Pros
- Anyone can succeed here. Whether you are an entry-level employee or a senior leader, your voice and opinions are treated as valid, and you will be encouraged to share your thoughts. - The organization is experimental by nature. Being "wrong" is nothing to shy away from here; in fact, the culture of Unify America treats failures as learning opportunities. - You can live anywhere in the country and work remotely or choose hybrid working if you're in the Chicago metro area. - The entire team gets together in Chicago twice a year for team building -- Jamboree is about celebrating the team and everyone's success. - Employees are not put into boxes with their roles. Many employees work collaboratively across departments. - The people here are amazing. Everyone is likable. - If you work hard, your work will be recognized and appreciated. - Very fast-paced work environment (a pro if that's what you thrive on)
Cons
- Unify America is NOT an organization for doing the bare minimum (you will not succeed here with that mentality) - Unlimited PTO: Great in theory, but when you're in charge of determining your own breaks, it's hard to justify taking time off since projects will always need to keep moving forward. - Being remote, I don't get to see everyone as much as I'd like. - Very fast-paced work environment (a con if that's not what works for you)
