They tell you that you will be speaking to investors, when you will actually be calling mom and pop shops that want nothing to do with you or the company.
They tell you commissions start to build up to about 1 per month after a few months, however even people with high lead counts barley make many commissions.
The so called "closers" very rarely close a deal, and are responsible for your commission.
The closers will lead you on saying they have someone on the line, but ultimately goes nowhere 9 times out of 10.
Again, you do not make your own commissions, but rather gather leads for the closers to close, and you see 0 dollars until they do so.
If you research similar companies doing what they're doing, it feels more and more like a scam than anything.
It is a cold calling job, not a production executive job, you sit in a bland room for 9 hours a day making 500 calls to people who want nothing to do with you.
The call lists are extremely outdated. My coworkers and I have called wrong numbers and dead people multiple times a day.
