Pros
Great Pay when going through DGS vs the tons of contracting firms delta use. When you go through DGS you make all the same rate that they are paying the outside firms. Most of the people that work for delta are GREAT.
Cons
Delta management is a joke. The old heads that have been there 25 years are awful. They are also bring in new management that are feeling the pressure to turn the IT group around. You sit elbow to elbow at open desk/tables Employess and Contractors alike. I had flight benefits but it is impossible to get on a plan especially during the holidays or summer. They even tell you, if you have to been somewhere , BUY A TICKET..! President of Delta is GREAT. Would work for him anywhere. Has breakfast with the employess one a QTR to understand what is going on at the ground level and he does it at the hubs as well. Just need to flush out the old heads.
