Pros
The only good thing about working here is a diverse range of clients. You get to write for different industries, learn different styles, and maybe improve your writing. Work from home is another good thing.
The team is brilliant, no doubt, the leadership? Not so much.
Cons
But as you work more and the deadlines keep getting tighter because everything is "urgent" and "there is no wiggle room", you will realise you are leaving as a worse writer than before. The working style is bad, they only want things one way, any other way isn't up to the mark. The founder clearly favours some people over the other, has unrealistic work and writing standards, and has terrible communication skills.
Even with WFH, you are expected to slave away and put in 10-12 hours because that's how much content tasks they assign because everything is urgent.
The founder and manager rarely negotiate deadlines with the client, so basically the client is god and you have to work even if you're dying. No one listens and empty promises are made everyday, no matter if you are a new team member or a senior writer, no one is respected and appreciated. Terrible, passive agressive leadership I would say, don't join this company.
