Pros

• Lots of interaction with clients. • Activities outside of home. • Only worth if you truly care for the mental health of the youth and can try your best to be better than the program.

Cons

• Low pay for intense work. • Unappreciated by upper management. • Micro-managed constantly. • High mental and possibly physical stress environment. • No support.

Pros

Super easy to call out if you are a man. If you are a woman it is very easy to get fired, even with a doctor’s note. There is lots of advancement opportunities because everyone is quitting all the time. You can work here if you are 18 and graduated from high school. Great workmed benefits when you get hurt at work from clients kicking you in the face. If there’s an actual dangerous situation, you have a 1 in 4 chance of the police getting involved (depending on who is on call and which kid is being violent and if they are a favorite) so you can write a police report.

Cons

Lots of violent clients, kids almost dying from lack of support from management and undertraining employees. Employees are not qualified to deal with the level of care the clients need. Cutting hours when a past client sues the company because they can’t afford to fully support their staff. Upper management has drama and plays favorites. Management talk badly of each other all the time.
