Pros

- Fastest growing enterprise company of all time (for a time) -IPO - Growing to 3 million users - Original vision of accelerating human achievement

Cons

A once bright company’s potential has been ruined by terrible strategy, lack of concern for users, constant layoffs, and a blinding ignorance of our own stated cultural values. I’ll call out my own Product team who continues to publish hard to use tech. Gone are the days when we valued ensuring products were easily deployable by real users. In the era of “vibe coding” it’s not acceptable to have a product stack where even established developers regularly say “wtf” when trying to do basic platform operations. Product marketing has also had a dramatic decline. The team, now under Product, went from being globally recognized to led by a buzzword buzzard whose only “original” thoughts are copied and pasted from ChatGPT. There’s been a terrible loss of morale across the team, and I lament what could’ve been. Half of my colleagues have either left, or are plotting their escapes. For the sake of the good people who remain, I hope Daniel is able to right the ship.

Pros

Good base salary & decent benefits.

Cons

The absolute most abysmal Customer Success Leadership in the Industry. No formal onboarding for a program over 6 years in flight. Former CS leader dropping F bombs on town halls, fumbling through a disarray of clumsy slides month over month with changing priorities and go to market initiatives. New CS Leader kicks off the Fiscal Year talking about themself first, versus listening and understanding the current state. And follows up unable to address concerns raised on a town hall about misalignment between Sales & CS. It’s only going to get worse. Day to day riddled with every collaboration tool in production between Sales & CS, adding to no standardization and further communication breakdown. Zero cohesion & partnership within CS cross Industry, Siloed with brick walls between. Silent RIFs and PIPs are a reality.
