Pros

Good Benefits. Depending on management/supervisor can be a great place to learn and gain experience as well as a great work environment. Personal Time and Sick leave are front loaded for the year so you have all time banks available for use.

Cons

No raises to adjust for cost of living. If there is a merit increase it is only 1-2%. Pay scale leaves much to be desired. HR will not approve raises above 12% so even when getting promoted the pay is often times lower than other organizations.

Pros

Respect between colleagues and bosses

Cons

The pay is not very competitive, but it is only a student research assistant position and is more about the experience
