      Pros

      USDM is great if you appreciate a cut throat environment and overly intense people at every turn. Also, you are strongly encouraged/forced to write a positive Glassdoor review after a few days of being on the job, it’s reaolly ridiculously. How do you know it’s a great place to work at that point? Senior partner will basically breath down your neck until you do it. Yes, they have good benefits, but on the other side of that they stress you out to the point that you are thankful you have behavioral health benefits to help with the strain.

      Cons

      I was cursed at and made to feel inadequate on a daily basis. I was not heard. I was treated as if I did not have a brain. Not a good feeling. This is not an exaggeration. I worked very hard, each day, to make a difference & it was flat out ignored. Not that I need recognition for everything I do, but they were always much quicker to point out flaws rather than a job well done. They pay everyone really well, except for administrative/support folks. The wage gap is HUGE and unfair. One of the partners is downright terrible, she is pushy, arrogant, a bulldozer, a bully, and a fake champion of the people. It’s quite sad. She turns on you in the blink of an eye. Watch out!

      It's a great option for contractors .

      The recruiting team can overstep boundaries; ie sitting in on interviews with clients.

      Pros

      Work/life balance is solid if you can manage your time and do your job Pay is competitive Some colleagues are great to work with

      Cons

      Majority of good colleagues have left the organization in last couple of years Abusive CEO who isn't afraid to call out and berate employees in front of others. Dysfunction has spread across organization from the top down What made the company reputable and special were the ex employees who left because of the CEO's lack of leadership and abuse. Vague commission structure and unclear payouts Unclear responsibilities across the board leads to day-to-day confusion
