Pros

This job gave me clear expectations and an outline of my job responsibilities. Everyone on the team is hardworking, and also supportive of one another. I really enjoyed the team, as well as my boss being very kind and supportive. They hold you to a high standard in the best way possible, and overall help you/support you in achieving that. It feels really good to work in an environment and for a company that has such a positive impact on people's lives via functional testing. Working here, I know I actually make a difference, and that is something that is very important to me when looking at my employment. US BioTek has monthly company luncheons, where one team (ex. marketing, finance, sample processing, customer service, etc.) chooses catering from somewhere and we all eat together. We also got Starbucks gift cards and handwritten letters from top management on birthdays, so it it very apparent that the company cares about the employees and their well being.

Cons

None really, this job was exactly what I expected from the job description.

Pros

US Biotek is a fast-paced company, and recent growth has created many opportunities to build new skills and take on a variety of responsibilities. I often have the chance to wear multiple hats, learn across functions, and develop skills beyond a narrowly defined role. Good place for the ones that enjoy learning, adapting, and working in a dynamic setting, This can be a great place to grow professionally. Another positive is the relatively low level of office politics, which helps create a more straightforward and focused work environment.

Cons

One area for improvement is the benefits package, which is fair but not especially competitive. In addition, because there are no on-site HR department, employee engagement and internal support can sometimes feel limited. As the company continues to grow, strengthening these areas could make the overall employee experience even better.
