Pros
EOD is a amazing career field to get into and achieve with a plethora of benefits and experiences for other federal jobs and can be a solid career or a stepping stone for others to grow further. Everyone within the career field of EOD are brothers and sisters and is a cherished family. I would absolutely trust them with my life and die for them if needed.
Cons
the United States of the Air Force even though being one of the better branches to join and to receive dignity and benefits it still comes with flaws and possible shortfalls due to the changes of executive orders and AFIs. It can have moments within where someone could thrive and do a full 20 or even have moments where a member could be left behind and more or less mistreated. However, I would reiterate that the career field of EOD would do it's darndest to stop that from happening whenever they can but chain of command and deadlines in the USAF still leaves the career field in a constant uphill battle to prevent it from rolling on their brothers and sisters in the field since rank still is a very big thing within the military and must be followed and enforced eventually.
