Cons
You have to compete with your own sales team, small package and freight for wins. Nobody will back off and a lot of UPS employees don't share leads or follow up. Then there is the outside competition too. You can be 100% in all products but if you don't close your targets you get put on notice (pip). They also make getting commission very hard. The formula is complicated and the also factor in points. A lot of favoritism, if the manager like you, you get Good accounts...if not they stick you bad ones. They push you and pressure you to give money to there lobbyist and United Way. If you don't they will blacklist you for promotions or look at you funny. The emails never stop to give money even though it is against the law to do that, the won't come out and say it but they will pigeon hole You in a position until you get mad and leave.
