Pros

Got along with most of my coworkers and the pay wasn't too bad.

Cons

Everything else. That place is so mismanaged and there is wayyyy to much stuff that gets swept under the rug. Ive worked in several nursing homes over the years and have never had to move as much as I did there. Which is saying alot considering it was staffed well and a small nursing home to begin with. I've moved more in 8 hours with 10 residents on my run that I have working 12-16 hours somewhere else with 15-20 residents. It's insane. And to top it off, you are not allowed to sit and breathe for a minute, ever. The only break room is upstairs down a super long hallway- not possible to run up there to grab a sip of water when you're thirsty. And management made no accommodations to even give staff easier access to drinks.

Pros

Good benefits and generally good leadership

Cons

Typical large healthcare organization. Affordable care act ruined healthcare so its more about making money because it has become more of a business than care.

Pros

No pros. It was a horrible place to work

Cons

If you were night shift, you had to work every holiday. The nurses were so lazy and never helped us. We ran around taking care of patients with no help. Changing them, cleaning up horrible messes, taking them to the bathroom and doing vitals with no help. Nurses would sit there eating while on Facebook, while we did all the work. Some would even be sleeping!
