      Pros

      flexible work schedule majority of personalities are pleasant, some not so much nice range of job duties to keep you busy and engaged ample opportunity for learning, including earning degrees at little or no cost

      Cons

      Scattered. One day you are doing something, the next, it's axed. Inconsistent messaging; little communication among departments. Expected overtime to get things done which, if done correctly the first time, overtime wouldn't be needed. **Pro's and Con's depends on particular department in which you work. Company is so large, these factors greatly depend on where you work.**

      UPMC is an all around wonderful place to work. Im a member services concierge and our team is the highest rated customer service team in the entire state! We love what we do and we do it well!

      No pros. It was a horrible place to work

      Cons

      If you were night shift, you had to work every holiday. The nurses were so lazy and never helped us. We ran around taking care of patients with no help. Changing them, cleaning up horrible messes, taking them to the bathroom and doing vitals with no help. Nurses would sit there eating while on Facebook, while we did all the work. Some would even be sleeping!
