      Isolation from management, headquarters and other branches of the agency Short contracts that are periodically subject to extension (job insecurity).

      Pros

      I got to interact with people from all over the world. Other interns were coming from top universities internationally. I was able to participate in a few big events and was able to explore the UN Headquarters.

      Cons

      It was mostly an administrative experience, with little opportunity to engage in the core activities of the agency.
