Pros
Company culture was great before Albertsons acquisition. Senior management cared about the rank and file. Employees were treated with respect.
Cons
It changed dramatically after the Albertsons acquisition and more so after the divesture. A tremendous amount of work required on those employees that remained. No incentives were given to maintain morale – with minimal to no pay raises; pensions were frozen because they” improved” the 401k plan – but then they took away the company 401k match.
