Pros
Coworkers, and benefits. Not much more to say here.
Cons
I’ve worked at UNFI for a little over two years now and since the merger everything has gone south. No one seems to know the company’s strategy since merging and upper management keeps employees in the dark every step of the way. Empty promises are made and the resources provided are extremely limited. The organization is known to under pay across the board and there’s little to no training so new hires are expected to figure out their role within 1-2 months or they’re gone. Turn over is extremely high since the merger so don’t get too comfortable with your co workers. I wouldn’t recommend any position at UNFI and there’s hundreds of others that would say the same. UNFI is stuck in their past successes with no tangible plan moving forward and if a plan is underway - employees are unaware.
