Pros

The boss and some of the employees are nice and friendly people.

Cons

The salary just reaches the lowest salary in the UK. The company did not proactively increase the salary as the law changed. As far as I know, some employees receive low wages that are under the law's standard, and some employees' wages have not increased for several years. There was workplace bullying, and some of the colleagues were not well-educated or well-behaved. The company did not help. You would not feel very good working in certain departments if you don't like playing scheming.

Pros

With the premise that you have no specific requirements like visa sponsorship, there's not much workload and burden.

Cons

The company is unaware of the importance of marketing. If what you're asking is a visa sponsorship, the company might set an unattainable goal to let you give up asking. Very low salary. No standards for job promotion and salary adjustment by year.

Pros

-Genuine care and compassion for employees. You will always have somebody to talk to and they will always have your back. -Opportunities to work with people from around the world. -The company has a genuine interest in career development and will fund outside training and workshop opportunities. -Great two-floor office in central Birmingham, right next to the canals and the ICC. -Flexible about working-from-home. They will trust you to get the work done and will provide you with any resource you need. -Never raised any issues about annual leave or sick leave, and always able to leave on-time at the end of the day. -A lovely team without any in-fighting. I enjoyed my time with the company and I would recommend it as a good place to get your career started.

Cons

-The focus is very much on China, and not being fluent in Chinese can lead to occasionally feeling "out of the loop". -Not much feedback on your work, and you won't be given much guidance on how to improve or grow after your first month. -Not enough opportunities to work with the wider team, especially those in China. At times communication within the UK team is limited. -The office is quiet. -No opportunities to work directly with university partners. -There is a heavy focus on writing. During busy periods, most of your day will be spent processing documents on Word.
