      Pros

      Awesome benefits, full medical, dental, vision. Generous benefits package and retirement plan. Great work life balance

      Cons

      Bureaucracy is difficult to navigate, working for a large entity like the UC can be challenging as there are many policies in place that are nonsensical. Salaries are likely lower due to the fact that we are california state employees

      Pros

      Great health insurance - I'm told it's really quite fire (no lie) Great location - love Westwood (sandwiched by Brentwood, Bel Air, and Beverly Hills) Union is tremendously supportive

      Campus dining options are kinda weak - breaks my heart to eat the same thing every day

      Working with students is satisfying and fulfilling. It also helps yourself retain information you have learned from past courses.

      Cons

      The Peer Learning Unit is poorly managed, and it is difficult to communicate with your supervisors.
