      Great way to learn about new stuff as UCLA is a major research institution Good benefits Nice location

      Cons

      Cliquish highly unprofessional colleagues Insane work load due to inefficient way of dustributing work Redundant reporting structure makes dealing with issues go through hoops. Disillusioned top management wanting to believe that ehs Ucla is top notch without actually doing anything Hiring the absolute wrong people - people who put 2 and 2 to get 7 Us vs them mentality

      Great health insurance - I'm told it's really quite fire (no lie) Great location - love Westwood (sandwiched by Brentwood, Bel Air, and Beverly Hills) Union is tremendously supportive

      Campus dining options are kinda weak - breaks my heart to eat the same thing every day

      Working with students is satisfying and fulfilling. It also helps yourself retain information you have learned from past courses.

      The Peer Learning Unit is poorly managed, and it is difficult to communicate with your supervisors.
