Pros
Colleagues are smart, engaged, and care about their jobs.
Cons
You do not get paid for holidays--you are forced to take holidays offs but must use PTO. Sick, holiday, and vacation days are all wrapped up into PTO, which is only 22 days your first year. You receive merit-based pay increases which only end of being about 3 percent, so basically a cost-of-living increase. There is no negotiation on salary upon hire unless you're coming in at the director level.
