      Great drugs but late to market - Director UCB Employee Review

      Pros

      This is a great company to work for. As a bemch scientist in R&D the collaboration and cross function interaction was excellent, catalysed by the quirky over crowded lab space. I fear this will be lost with a move to a new site in 2024. The people to people integration is good and team work is excellent. We delivered best in class drugs many in ongoing clinical trials

      Cons

      Slower than industry standard development timelines leaves UCB later to market than competitors reducing penetration and financial return. Salaries are below par.

      Benefit package is wonderful with no downsides.

      The company has many teams and levels which makes it seem like advancement is unobtainable.
