      Great Opportunity, Experience dealing with high-level situation, especially if you are an elected member. Can be a great learning tool.

      Cons

      CAN BE VERY STRESSFUL at times. Very politically. Also very competitive to get into. Don't do it for the money -- do it if you actually care.

      Great institution serving a diverse student population. Plenty of interesting research labs. Decent benefits.

      Commuter school so traffic and parking can be terrible. Select your PI wisely, and ensure healthy work life balance.
