Pros

Twosense has a genuinely interesting product, The people who work there are great, I've rarely gotten flak for taking time off.

Cons

The CEO slows things down and is often a bottleneck for getting things done. He changed the sales strategy and the company stopped closing new business, causing the sales leadership to leave. I was promoted twice and wasn't given a salary increase. For the second promotion my commission was decreased. The CEO prompted people in the company to write the good reviews here, you'll notice almost all the five star reviews were written on the same date.

Pros

- The CEO and CTO have worked hard to foster a great culture at the company - Mental health is destigmatized; you are encouraged to take as much time off as you need to prevent burning out (and all MH expenses are reimbursed) - In engineering: there is no blame. We are accountable as the entire team, not as individuals - Fully remote team, can work from anywhere - Everyone is great to work with - Opportunities for growth

Cons

- Often tight deadlines, but that’s to be expected at a small startup like this

Pros

Unlimited PTO, Stock options, Healthcare, Mental health expense reimbursement, Remote. Management listens and retrospectives are taken seriously. The company course corrects according to business and internal culture needs. 1:1 meetings with the CTO and CEO yield positive changes. Employee satisfaction and avoidance of burn out is a clear priority and is communicated as such. Feedback is timely and frequent. There is very little bureaucracy and the team is incentivized to help each other rather than compete for attention like one might be at a big corporation that does stack ranking.

Cons

The team is small and flat, so you need to be comfortable learning and potentially wearing many hats. I think this will only be a con for people who are used to big corporations where one can be super specialized. It might not be the best place for someone very early in their career unless they're comfortable asking for a lot of help from their teammates, since we're given freedom and aren't micromanaged.
