Pros
Twain is a great place to work in many different ways:
- Even though it's a startup, they greatly care about the culture. Everything is super-transparent; everyone is very respectful and friendly to each other.
- Once again, it's surprising for the startup - the codebase is in excellent shape, Twain lives in a mono repo, CI/CD, testing and infrastructure setup is solid, it's a pleasure to write the code.
- Twain is a remote-first company in a good way. You will have a lot of freedom, no one will ever check on you and manage you. But high performance and liability will, of course, be expected from you. Also, you will meet a lot - the office in Berlin is just excellent, and offsite meetings are just another level.
- The CEO, Mohamed Chahin, is friendly, achievable, and open-minded. He cares a lot about the product, company, and team. Twain is no doubt his life's work.
- The product vision is bright and ambitious. People in Twain know precisely what they are building and what their mission is. Twain will change the world :)
Cons
Seriously, they are just great. You will feel on the very first meeting and this feeling won't fade.
