Pros
A few really talented people that have the misfortune of having no other choice for a game job in Boston. Excellent equipment and software for the staff. Very good work/life balance for most employees. Some nice Warner Brothers perks.
Cons
Too many legacy staff with very outdated ideas, methods, and skills. Mediocrity is the only thing this studio knows and real innovation and excellence is actively suppressed. Senior management is ridiculously dysfunctional. There is no concept of working for the greater good of the company, rather focus on individual silos. The product development executives are on a power trip and most should have been let go. The art direction is sub par at best (I don't think those responsible could be employed elsewhere). No accountability for massive executive failure. Only ideas from the senior management are considered valid, anything coming from below is typically dismissed. Management has foolishly clung to grossly outdated game tech that should have been gutted years ago. Design is disproportionately empowered over Art and Engineering, and has little regard for their poor practices or the cost of their failures. Salaries are very substandard and while there are many promotions, opportunities for real growth are poor.
