Pros
I moved to Amarillo Texas from the UK in July of 2021 and began working for Tuff Shed 3 weeks later. I spent a week at the factory store in Lubbock being trained by a very experienced SDC, although the whole process was new to me compared to the systems/processes I had used in the UK. I felt confident when I took on running the Amarillo store alone the following week. The support from management at all levels has been amazing, they are all just a phone call or message away. My manager from Lubbock keeps in touch daily and always asks me if I need anything and makes me feel valued and appreciated. I get a basic hourly rate plus commission, the hourly rate increases with your sales performance. There is a lot of opportunity to earn a very good wage/commission but more importantly is the knowledge that as long as you follow the tried and trusted process you will have a safe and secure employment for as long as you want. Management will also listen to any suggestions you have, whilst other SDC's will also help and support you in any areas where you may need a little help. Overall, if you like meeting people, love to talk, want to have big company safety with family firm values, you will be hard pushed to find anywhere better than Tuff Shed
Cons
No real cons, I do wish I could have the same amount of vacation time that I had in the UK, but this isn't a Tuff Shed con, that's a nationwide issue.
