Pros
I worked at Tsunami for 4 years. There are some wonderful people who work there, especially managers who do care about their team and are willing to push your limits and guide you along the way. I worked both on the business side and tech side of the company. The projects can be interesting due to it being in the aerospace industry. The company tries to keep your extra hours to a minimum. The office environment is relaxed until it comes to release time.
Cons
Every software release in the South office was always a struggle and often times we barely made it. The company sort of has a "we need warm bodies" policy when it comes to developers. I find it admirable that the company is willing to hire a lot of fresh university graduates, but exclusively hiring them while being incapable of retaining senior level ability is not sustainable. Turn over rate was really high as certain benefits and promises made to incentivize people to work there were later revoked. Almost an entire Dev team was flipped in a year due to this. The management on the dev side suffered from reorganizations annually and managers rarely got along which was very evident to the team as a whole. Pay is pretty average for the area and industry. You will get your slightly above inflation rate raise per year if you do good work, but don't expect a pay-bump when you moving into a higher or more demanding position as you grow with the company. Everything is a lateral movement there. Don't except any significant bonuses for overtime work you would be doing.
