Pros

It was fun to work by myself with no one telling me what to do, also, slightly concerning to work by myself with no one telling me what to do.

Cons

Too many to list, most surrounding the CEO, Pete. He seems to have his head in the clouds, or maybe in the sand. Unrealistic requests, employees aren't treated like people, but like pawns, paid well below market rate. Thinks he has the next Amazon, very self-centered, egotistical, thinks he's brilliant. He should honestly step away from the company for it to succeed. Asked engineers to commit for 3 years or quit, let go of an entire office through an email.

Pros

While working here, immediately, one is welcomed and enveloped into a warm, strong community that goes above and beyond, not only for the company, but also for one another. You can't help but feel like family, celebrating every little win and supporting each other during the struggles. As a start-up, not everything is going to be pretty at the end of the day, but I know for a fact that this team is quick to realize and admit mistakes, learn from it, grow from it, and be stronger than before. To add to this, the CEO, Mr. Peter Rex, not only establishes a feeling of support and trust, but he puts his money where his mouth is. You can see and trust his vision for the company. At the end of the day, you don't feel like you are working for him, but rather with him. He's with you in the trenches helping not only the company grow, but also you as an individual. He is inclusive, supportive, intelligent, hard-working, passionate, and innovative. This is truly a company where you know you are supported, will be challenged, and will come out better than when you come in.

Cons

Not a workplace for the faint of heart. Great things are worth the blood, sweat, and tears. Not a con, but rather startups are hard and need the time and passion invested in them. It's what sets leaders apart from the pack.
