Cons
Extremely poor management, managers are bullies and shows a lot of favoritisms. They talked behind your back and bully you in the morning meeting. Worked 6 days a week most of the time. They want you to do everything while being a banker. You stocked at the teller line most of the time while they're expecting you to meet your goals and everything else. You stuck in the same position for years. They lied about moving you up. Morning meeting is repetitive , talking about the same thing over and over. Managers are rude , classless and treat the employees like slaves. Hostile environment , people are throwing others under the bus. Make a simple mistake will make you feel like you're nothing. Bonuses are a joke, they tried everything not to pay you extra. Every year you'll get more responsibilities with no extra pay. Some people do what they want and some can't. Managers are rude and cruel to some employees. You have to kiss a lot of butts to move up. They will disrespect you in front of clients. If you want to start your banking career, please don't go to Truist! I've never had a job that people like they do there. I thought it would a great experience , I was sadly mistaken. I've warned you! Maybe corporate is different but most of the branches are terrible. Oh, I almost forgot.. the gossiped like crazy! Be careful, it's a very small space. Keep everything to yourself because they will tell on you in a min. Small banks are better! Employees are being cussed out for not meeting their unrealistic goals! Expected you to close a loan in the drive thru! Sent you everywhere to cover other branches. It just bad!
