Pros
Good work-life balance Some Fri allow employees to leave at 4 pm A few leaders are very nice and capable
Cons
The company's portfolio and workforce are both getting smaller and making a profit is a big problem. Really skilled people, including the top managers, are leaving one after another. The turnover rate is crazy high—a major warning sign. The management style is pretty old-fashioned. Some leaders are great, but there are a lot of micromanagers. They care more about you being in your seat than how well you're doing. Micromanagers always want you physically present, and they prefer employees who just do what they're told without question. The salary is less than what's fair in the market. It's highly likely you won't get a raise for 2 years or even longer. Bonuses haven't happened in years. The work hours are 8 to 5, which is actually 9 hours, not 8.
