I met with TTG about a position I was interested in. I went through their very lengthy interview process. They say it's best to gather ALL that info before you're submitted for a job, but was just their way to sell you more to even get an interview with the company they work with. Before I was submitted for a job, I was brought in for about an 1 1/2 hour meeting with my scout asking old school questions where they just critique you responses. Then, my references were sent this very lengthy questionnaire about me that took so much time out of their day (I felt it was a little tacky to bug references at this point).. this was all before I was submitted. Then, I was submitted, got an interview, then was asked to come up with a detailed portfolio, which I would've done anyway. I spent hours on it; roughly 10 - 15. I prepped, had a good interview, I didn't think it was the best fit, but it was a good conversation for about 1 1/2 hour of my time. After that, I heard absolutely NOTHING from TTG... not exactly a good way to keep candidates interested in you. Obviously they have way too many to manage. Anyway, I thought after all my prepping, references involved and interview time, I deserved some kind of follow-up. They just want to place people and get paid, they don't really care about their candidates. Especially those who didn't make it past the first interview round with them.
