Worst charter district I have ever worked for - Vice Principal Trinity Basin Preparatory Employee Review

Pros

The teachers at my campus were great.

Cons

Oppressed teachers treated like they aren't professionals, micromanaged employees, and everyone was afraid of the administration who were not qualified but hired because of friendships and family relations. The fired anyone who spoke up and they really didn't follow the TEKS. Students were suspended for having the wrong color bows in their hair and missed instruction. This was the worst experiences I have had with a school district. If you consider working there, then reconsider. The turnover rate was around 40% with many teachers quitting at all times of the year. There is nepotism and just an administration full of unprofessional and unqualified individuals.

Pros

Great first IT joob to get your foot in the door

Cons

You will be required to use your vehicle to travel between Ft.worth and Mesquite almost everyday. they do have an IT van but its only one that you share between multiple techs, so if the vans not there and its something you need to do at a campus you will use your vehicle with no reimbursement or tax write-off and you will put alot of miles on your vehicle very quickly
