Still the Worst Place I've Ever Worked - Administrative Assistant Trilogy Real Estate Group Employee Review

Pros

Environment started off welcoming and fun High interest in padding employees with perks and outings At the corporate office, work week was abbreviated

Cons

Management operated under a culture of suspicion and took unethical approaches toward monitoring work behaviors and habits. The threat of being fired was frequently used as a performance motivator. Management frequently bragged about ability to trigger others, openly mocked mental illness and disability and used hostile, inequitable and threatening language. Little to no training provided and absolute perfection will be expected. Mistakes are treated with contempt and with little to no constructive coaching or follow up provided. Attempting to fix a mistake is viewed as sneaky or dishonest, rather than resourceful and solution-oriented. Little to no boundaries around employee time and privacy. Lack of organization and clarity. Promises for advancement made in interview may be reneged upon hire. Team was extremely cliquey and siloed, with little to no warmth or friendliness. Concerns raised will be promptly dismissed and may even result in retaliation. PLEASE NOTE that every other 5 star review of this company can think of literally no cons to working there. Overall, the work environment is toxic, aggressive, vindictive, unforgiving and promotes fear of failure over learning, cruelty over kindness.

Pros

Fun work culture, good people to work with

Cons

People would get fired all the time for random reasons, so everyone felt constantly on edge. Company grew too fast and now shrinking even faster - sold portfolio and laid off majority of company
