Very difficult job with chance for progression, but unlikely - Equity Trader Trillium Trading Employee Review

Pros

-Chance for very high progression in very short period of time- top traders can net over a million a year before the age of 30 which is appealing

Cons

- Only around 40% of traders make it beyond 2 years. Even those who make it beyond 2 years don't have any guarantees, and the cost of paying for news sources such as Bloomberg and Reuters is very high. You will lose over half of your PNL to firm fees, commissions, and share fees. After that tax will take around half, so expect around 25-30% of your PNL as your income.
