BEWARE - Corporate Trainer TriMkt Employee Review

This type of job, working directly with clients and customers, was so new for me. I came from a background with very little face-to-face work (both with customers, clients, co workers, etc) and this has stretched my abilities. I have learned so much about leadership, self development, sales strategies, etc. I am hopefully for a long career within the industry, but regardless some of the skills I have honed while working here will serve me for a long time.

I mentioned above being stretched for growth. It has been a process....and I have worked really hard. I put in a lot of time, so initially it will be long hours if you want to progress quickly. It can also get competitive, so this can be a high-intensity position.

They make you feel good by lying to your face.

This place operates like a classic “devil corp” with fake positivity dialed up to 11. Directors and higher-ups push constant hype, mandatory rah-rah meetings, and this cult-like atmosphere where you’re expected to act overly enthusiastic no matter what. Any real concerns or burnout get dismissed as “negative energy” or a “mindset issue,” and you’re manipulated into staying longer with promises of “growth” that rarely materialize for most people. As a corporate trainer, you’re not just training—you’re essentially a cheerleader enforcing the same toxic positivity on new hires. Leadership uses guilt, peer pressure, and subtle bullying tactics to hit unrealistic targets. They’ll praise you publicly but privately criticize if numbers dip, creating a constant fear of being labeled “not a team player.” High turnover is obvious once you’re in, but they spin it as “people leveling up” or “not being a fit.” The “family” vibe is superficial; it’s all about squeezing performance out of you while directors protect their own bonuses. If you’re considering this, look at the Reddit threads calling out TriMkt (and its rebrand from Acquire) – the warnings are real. Save yourself the stress and find a company that values work-life balance and genuine support instead of manipulation disguised as motivation.
